QUESTION: What if I ride with multiple bottles ?
ANSWER: To run with multiple bottles you have a few options. The best option is to purchase a second Qwiksip bottle and swap out the first one with the in-line quick connect when empty, this takes only seconds and you can run two separate type of fluids if desired. Vreate Creative is working on a QwikSwitch product which would allow you to run two bottles with the flick of a switch.
QUESTION: Does the fluid in my bottle need to be drawn up through the entire tube each time I take a drink?
ANSWER: No, thanks to redundant backflow prevention built into the unit you only need to draw up fluid once. After an initial fill of the system there is no need to redraw fluids. Once the tube is full fluids do not drain back to the bottle, so this makes it easy to take a drink whenever needed and continue drinking until the bottle is empty. Upon new refills it only takes a few seconds to draw fluid up the entire length for the next ride.
QUESTION: What if I get air in the tube when I take a drink?
ANSWER: QwikSip is a sealed closed-loop unit and will not allow air into the system. If air bubbles check for damage to the unit and contact support for further troubleshooting.
QUESTION: What is the best location to mount the QwikSip?
ANSWER: We find that the top tube right behind the stem of the bike is the ideal location for easy access and mounting options. There are other mount location options but this location is out of the air stream since it sits behind the stem and this location close to handlebars makes it easy for the rider to grab and pull up to mouth whenever needing a drink.
QUESTION: What frame types and sizes does the QwikSip fit?
ANSWER: The QwikSip mount is designed to fit a variety of bike frames and types including mountain bikes, road bikes, gravel bikes, fat bikes, commuters, etc. The velcro straps allow for adjustments to multiple bike frames and can be adjusted to fit in a variety of locations.
QUESTION: Can a single QwikSip be used with multiple bikes?
ANSWER: Yes, the rider can either simply and quickly remove the velcro straps and move the QwikSip to another bike. You can also purchase a second mount (with included velcro) and move the QwikSip unit using the push button release on the mount. it’s magical!
QUESTION: How do I clean the QwikSip?
ANSWER: Due to the single direction flow design it is best to rinse out the QwikSip by unscrewing the cap from the bottle and then running water through the bottle hose all the way through the bite valve. You need to pinch the bite valve with your fingers to allow fluid to flow through the whole unit.
